Hello, nurses! I have an interview for a small county jail that is managed by QCHC next week. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Types of questions asked? Pointers? I have 23 years experience as an LPN but nothing remotely to do with corrections. Thanks in advance.

I will be writing an Article about Correctional Nursing which will include common interview questions (health-care related as well as common questions about working in a Correctional Facility that contains non-health care related questions).

I will try and get this written soon and hope to help others as they consider this specialty career area. The Article will contain some common scenarios regarding treating the inmate.
