Computerized MAR programs

I am wondering if anyone has information about a computerized MAR program-and where you could purchase a software system for this. Our facility serves 300 inmates and we hand-transcribe those 300 MARs every month. We are looking for a way to do this on the computer. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You sound like you have the same situation I do. I am the only nurse in the facility with 250 inmates. Everyone wants something. The CO's Do the med passes. I have a company in ALA the UPS's my meds and sends me the MARS with their stuff already on them. Where do you get your med fills at?Local Pharmacy? I use to have it like that but the pharm company I use does all that now and I just put them in drawers for the CO's. I have been doing this job for 3 years and feel lost. I am on permanent lone from the local regional hospital so my providers are ACC MD's and APN.
