Yaay! I am so happy for you guys who are getting calls!
I received an e-mail that they cannot evaluate my application until my last two prerequisite grades are in. This contradicts what they had told me over the summer, but oh well. They also only received one of my recommendations which is odd because all my recommenders confirmed that they sent theirs in and I have a scanned copy from one of them that shows when it was sent and that it was sent to the correct address. Strange!
Either way, if I do not get into this other school I am really hoping for, I will take the BIO Clep exam and a research methods course and consider reapplying next year.
I hope you guys who got in enjoy the program! Congrats!

awildsoul,
If you don't mind, what school are you really hoping for?
Yes, I also found, that what is being said at the info sessions about prerequisites is not what happens in reality.
Waitlist no more! Got into Stamford. Head spinnnning:)

Hi everyone! Just wanted to wish you all good luck! We the class of 2013 are getting ready for graduation in a few weeks. It seems like only yesterday we all were in your shoes! the beginning of the program will be the hardest, but once you get a rhythm going you may find things get a bit easier, and I emphasize a Bit! I'll be happy to answer questions if you guys have any.
Thank you for your well wishes and same to you with the rest of school and job search! Did you work part-time throughout the entire program? Since you say the beginning is the toughest, did you work then? Want to work ~10 hrs/week but hesitant.
Thank You:-)
Yes, I worked throughout the program. I worked as many hours as I could realistically balance, meaning my hours often varied weekly with whatever my class/clinical/lab load was. For us, lab was only one semester long (Spring). You may find your schedule a little less strained in the summer and fall, unless of course you end up with a 3 day a week clinical. Hope that helps:-)!
Very helpful, thank you!

For the CEIN members CONGRATULATIONS! . I have e-mailed faculty and am sure to hear back from them eventually, but I thought maybe I would throw the question out here. I am in the pre-req stage and will finish this summer. I was advised to apply for the June group. Are there 3 different cohorts? Or is this just a rolling admission and all programs regardless of location begin in the Spring?
CONGRATULATIONS! when does the Waterbury group(s) start?
Just a rolling admission 3 times a year, but the program only starts in the Spring semester (January). I agree, apply earlier rather than later. Good luck!
