Has anyone heard back for the CEIN 2014 class??

I agree with you, ab27, on the chances of waitlist (sigh!), but they said they've had last minute cancelations before. Not hoping on anybody to drop out if they want to attend either. So just proceding forward as if this program is out of the question for me until 2015 and if miracle happens, it happens. Knee deep in plan B tight now.

But isn't that compared to other schools, uconn is the least expensive one?

Technically SCSU is the least expensive, followed by UCONN. Quinnipiac is the most expensive of the CT programs (based on my research).

Fairfield program offers their accelerated program but it's more than 12 months compares to others if I'm not wrong. Southern acceptance rate is even lower than other programs. I think thy only accept like 30 something students each year and they have more requirements?

Unfortunately every program had slightly different requirements - why make it easy for us, right? Fairfield is 15 months yes. SCSU is about 30 people, but so is each individual UCONN campus, so considering we all want a specific one, it's the same level of competition.

It's unfortunate that we have to work so hard to keep good grades for these programs! While I know some other students already in nursing schools, they only have to earn a 'C' for A&P and they still complain about how to get a C :(. It seems unfair to me.

Well accelerated BSN is the hardest way into nursing, but the fastest. Don't worry, our efforts will pay off long term. I ensure!

Has anyone else gotten denied from avery point?

I was denied to Waterbury. I'm curious if anybody else got denied anywhere.

Does anyone know what is the tuition for the accelerated program at Fairfield?

I think it's about 45K plus books, fees etc. Sigh...

That's so expensive!! :( but thank you for the info :)
