Has anyone heard back for the CEIN 2014 class??

I agree, I think their list serves more as reference for those who are trying to find the best place to take prerequisites, but not meant to be exclusive of other institutions.

Is anyone else still waiting to hear for the Avery Point campus?

I actually got rejected and was not even waitlisted. Would anyone else who was waitlisted mind sharing what their GPA was for their bachelors degree? I'm wondering if that was my downfall.

Did anyone else hear back about being accepted/waitlisted/rejected?

gett34, did you get rejected or deferred to 2015? Will they consider you for 2015?

I am waitlisted for '14, otherwise deferred to '15. Not a surprise since I am still working on 2 prereqs. My undergrad GPA was 3.65, prereq GPA 4.0 so far.

No actually rejected. I was surprised. My GPA was 3.4. I plan on applying again though, but this time I'm going to apply for the early admission so hopefully I will get in.

I think it might be a good idea to call the Director of the campus you applied to and ask what you can do to improve your chances. After all the effort you put in, I think they will talk to you. And you will introduce yourself personally and show your commitment. Just a thought.

Being waitlisted doesn't mean you will definitely get in. I think they say that you will get re-review next year? Does anyone know if being waitlisted mean you will get in for 2015 class or does it just mean you will get another review?

From what I understand, if you are waitlisted for '14 it means that if somebody drops out/decides not to pursue, you will be offered a spot for '14, depending on where you are on the waitlist. Otherwise you will be reviewed in the first review (Jan) for '15 (deferred).

Has anyone applied to any other schools as backups??

Deposits of $500 were due toward the start of September, so I'd assume that anyone that didn't want to accept admission to the program has already been weeded out. So, I'd say chances of finding an open spot on the wait list are slim.

As for transfer credits: That list is to provide examples of applicable courses; I'm pretty sure they take credits from anywhere as long as they meet criteria.

I am in Fairfield country, so I applied to Fairfield, Pace and SCSU. Went to Quinnipiac open house, but found it unjustifiably expensive. Loved what I saw at the Fairfield open house. Just heard from a friend about a program in College of New Rochelle - might go check out their open house. Anybody else applied to these schools?
