TEAS test

I'm scheduled to take the TEAS test in less than two weeks and am a little nervous. Ive been out of college since 2005 and cant even remember the last time I was in a math class. Any feedback about the test? Im not too worried about the english part, just the math and science. Did anyone buy the study guide or the practice exam online, and if so, was it worth it? Any ideas of how to study for it? Thanks in advance for any advice!

HI there,,,If you do a search on this website by putting TEAS in the search box you will get LOTS of info on the teas test! HTH:specs:

The pre-nursing board has many TEAS test threads. I took it back in September and I've been out of school since 1999. It went pretty well, I did purchase the study guide and on-line practice exams to get myself back in the practice of taking standardized tests. The science was definitely the most difficult to study for as it covers quite a range of areas of science. The English and grammar were straight forward and the math section does have some questions you need to be sure you read carefully in order to answer correctly. Good luck.

hi,

I bought both the study guide and practice test. YES THEY DO HELP. The english part is easy (for me at least). If you study the math part in the study guide you will be fine. I had a hard time with the science part especially with earth science. There is a paragraph at the end of the science section about earth science you won't believe how many questions came out of that part. I highly recomand you focus on the science part.
