Where in CO can I get into a program fast that is also cheep and with a low GPA?

My overall gpa when I got my bachelor's in apparel design was only 2.49. I found a school I can get into in TN, because they look at your grade in a&p I and your act score (or give you max credit for the b.s.)

It took me a long time to find this school and now I'm finally leaving TN and getting the opportunity to move to Colorado. Does anyone know of a school or schools in the Denver area that don't have long waits to get in, or go by something more than just a gpa, like your grades in a&p I, II, and micro?

I'm in the process of figuring out where to register for a&p II and micro for spring '09. I would appreciate any feedback on professor choices, if you have any experiences.

I'm going to be selling my house and living in a travel trailer, so I will have the benefit of location flexibility.

CSU in Pueblo usually is easy to get into. they do have an accelerated program for people with a bachelor's. it is probably cheaper than other 4 year programs.

I just went to the Orientation at FRCC Fort Collins campus last week, the way it was explained to us was that if you have a previous BS you don't get a bump on the WL you have a separate waitlist. They admit 35 students per semester, 10 from the BS waitlist and 25 from the standard WL. You have to have a 2.5 GPS on only your Pre Reqs which are A&P 1 and 2, Micro, English 101 (well here in CO it's called another number but it's the standard college English class) Psych- Developmental Lifespan.

From what was explained to us is if you already have a BS you can get on the waitlist without having your pre reqs done but they have to be done before you start the RN program.

I start the program in August. The WL is 2-2.5 years now, it was 3-3.5 which is how long I have waited.

They highly suggest while waiting to also take Pathophysiology and Nurtition to get it out of the way which I have done and your elective which has to be from a specific list. They also suggest either volunteering or working in the health care setting to get more exp.

I have heard and know first hand that Fort Morgan is easy to get into if you meet the requirements I don't know what they have in place for previous BS but I know the GPA is calculated off your Pre Reqs and nothing else.
