I have contacted the state board five times to find out if Excelsior is an accredited school in Colorado. I have been given the run around every time. Does anyone here know if their program is accredited?
Thanks in advance.

Excelsior is regionally accredited and also nursing accredited. Individual state boards of nursing can make a decision to allow Excelsior graduates take their initial state board RN exam or not. I don't know about what the board in Colorado does but Excelsior is both regionally and nursing accredited.
Thanks for your information, Ken. Is there anyone who has taken the boards in CO with an Excelsior edu?

In regards to Excelsior College, I researched the school because I am in the process of trying to attend Nursing school. I had the same problem as you so I went to another University and asked. I was told that they have had many students have the same problem and most University's do not accept their credits.
Hope that helps. :)
