I didn't find another topic relating to the new grad RN program for Children's Hospital Colorado, so I decided to start a thread.

Anyone else apply for the August cohort?

I live in San Diego right now, but have visited Denver a handful of times and really love it out there. I dont know too much about Children's CO, so if anyone would like to share any advice or info I would love to hear it!

I applied as well and received an email on 4/22 saying they forwarded me to a hiring manager and my application status says "Route". I want this SO bad! I just wish they weren't waiting until 5/17 to make calls for interviews!

Hi everyone! I applied to this as well and received the "Route" status too. I haven't heard too much about this hospital, but after doing a little research and even watching YouTube videos, it seems like a great place to work. Anyone seen the video about the little boy talking about gelato? Too cute!

I've never visited Denver.. I'm from California but in Hawaii finishing up nursing school. It's actually nice to know that a human has their hands/eyes on our paperwork. There is hope! Good luck to all of you! :)

I know! There is a girl in my class that applied the same day as me and her status still says screen... I don't know if that means anything though. Good luck everyone! It would be nice if we all get it and have a chance to get to know each other before orientation.

I got an email today saying that my resume and cover letter didnt attach right and they asked if I was still interested. I was surprised (and very happy) that they even let me know that my application wasn't complete. But at least this means that they definitely look at all of the applications thoroughly!!

My friend and I both got the same email today about our résumé and cover letter. My letter is definitely on my application so it was weird but we're happy they notified us of our incomplete application nonetheless! Good luck to everyone!

Prior to getting the email about your incomplete application, what was your status on the website?

Prior to getting the email, my status said route and it still says route now.

I remember reading something about finding out on the 17th so I looked on their website last night and saw this..

ATTENTION: Due to unforeseen circumstances, candidate notification of interview will be delayed until May 31, 2013.

I just randomly decided to look at my submitted application for the program and noticed that some of the words like 'critical care' and 'dietary' that I put on my resume seemed to populate in the Licenses/Certificates section. They weren't there originally when I submitted the application. I don't have a certification as a critical care RN and a registered dietician, although either would be nice. haha. I'm hoping to get in contact with HR to fix the issue. Anyone else take a look at their applications and notice anything different?

I just got called today for an interview... Yay! Anyone else? The recruiter said it's 2 back-to-back interviews and a written scenarios exam. Has anyone out there done the interviews before... Wondering if its behavioral questions, panel, or what? Also wondering about the scenario exam-- if its straight Peds or specific to the type of unit we will be on (ie Peds ED)? Any insight would be much appreciated. Good luck everyone! :)
