Just wondering if anyone here works for PSA Healthcare or Bayada Nurses or has heard anything about working for either in the Colorado region? What do/don't you like? Any idea what the pay range is? Thanks in advance!

I had applied for a PSA position. I was thinking it was more of a peds case manager position, but it's actually more like private duty, where you stay in one home and take care of a peds patient for an entire 8-12 hour shift. Pay was something like $22.50 an hour, so it never went beyond the phone interview stage.
Thanks for your response, klone, good to know!

Although the pay isn't great do you recommend this job for a new grad? and do you know if they hire new grads?
I would not recommend home health for a new grad.

I want to know, why you won't recommend it to new grad, coz i am also new grad and have interview with PSA on tuesday. I dont have any job so i want to earn something.
I just don't think new grads have the level of experience and judgment needed for home health.
Thanks Klone. I worked for 1 year in india but over here in US they r not counting my experience and take me as new grad.
That's too bad. In your situation, I would not consider you a "new grad" even if the facilties do. That's unfair that they won't consider your year workign in India, where I bet you have a TON more experience under your belt than the average nurse with one year experience.
Yeah i know its really bad and they hang up on my face:scrying:..thts really weird.
