uniforms for clinicals

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Hi, I'm new here! I have enrolled in the CNA program at my local community college, Bristol Community College. Which I am very excited:redbeathe and a little nervous about it.

For all of our clinical uniforms we are suppose to wear "light blue" scrubs. I have been looking online and the lightest blue that seems to be offered the most, & the non brightest is, ceil blue. Of course I do not want to purchase the wrong colors, do you think this is the most appropriate "light blue"? As you can see I am way to much of a perfectionist. Also I planned on purchasing white thermals for underneath the scrubs, and I have been advised that after I get a job the bottom thermals will not be necessary at a nursing home,"considering they're a sweat box". But do you think I will need them during the clinical portion of the class?? Or should I just purchase the tops?

Why don't you ask the instructor if ceil blue is okay?

And I would not go out and buy thermals for under your scrubs. You won't need them- nursing homes are hot. Save your money for when you're working rather than waste it on junk for a class. I know you're excited but when the class is over in a short amount of time you'll be stuck with all these thermals and blue scrubs you don't need.
