Stating CNA class in Jan. Clothing Question

Hi I will be starting a cna class at my community college in January. My question is when wearing scrubs at clinicals and such are you able to wear other clothing underneath? I was thinking about white thermals under my white scub pants( which are see though) and maybe a White tank top under my blue scubs shirt. I live in Chicago area so it would also help with the cold. Any help would be apprecaited.

It is allowed, although you probably won't need anything underneath. Nursing homes are like saunas and on top of that you'll probably be running around a lot.

Ditto! At my job the thermostat is always at a toasty 79 degrees lol. Perhaps you'll need to wear thermals on the way to clinicals though.

Girl, after an hour, you will be asking where the bathroom is so you can liberate yourself from those sweaty thermals!

Wear a good jacket and a sweater, and thermal pants underneath til you get there, then you can shuck out of them before your shift starts. So you will also want to bring a bag to keep your stuff in, something with a zipper for privacy/security. (You might think about locking the zipper - kind of a personal choice thing, but one of my fellow students had her bag gotten in to during one of our clinical shifts.)

I agree.. Thermals under your scrubs pants would just be way too much. Boy shorts are the best things to wear with the white scrub pants.
