I have an interview with a large network of physicians offices on Cape Cod tomorrow. From what I am reading the office nurse wage is significantly lower than the hospital setting.
I was make 22.50 base rate but 25.50 during the week evening shift and 30 weekend shift in long term care. I'm so nervous they are going to offer me $20 an hour. I have 4 years of experience as an LPN and two as an RN. I do not want to continue in long term care or go to the hospital setting due to the stress level.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!

when I did office nursing, my base starting hourly was like 26-27, i think. But I was also working in a very economically depressed city- i think the wages might be better in the Cape? I would think so, at least.
I make SO much more in acute care, but the lower wage was definitely worth the awesome hours. I only left that job because it wasn't compatible with my school hours.
This is the wage I am hoping to be offered. I am getting a bit nervous as I am meeting with the Director of the entire network of physicians. He seemed down to earth at the job fair. I really want this job! I hope I answer the questions right. I left my last position in long term care on bad terms. First job ever in my entire life. Thank you for your reply!
I was offered the position and $26 an hour with incentive bonus where I can earn an additional $3. I'm content with the 26, no holidays and no weekends! Yaaaay
