Hep B Carrier CNA student

Today my training school gave me a physical examination paper, for my family doctor to fill out.

There are only two choice for hepatitis B on the paper, immune or not immune. How I should fill the form if I am hepatitis B positive? Shall I attach all the detailed report for my hepatitis B test results or just ask my doctor to write "positive"?

By the way, the LTC facility will see the physical examination report before they could accept me for internship there. I am quite worried.

Anyone has silimar experience to share? I got hep B from my mom at born.

I am worried.

Not dare to ask any staff about this in my training school.

If you have acute/chronic hepB and are shedding virus it might be an issue. If you have recovered then you are immune.

My virus are not detectable.

I was infected by mom at birth, it's chronic

Honestly I would have the dr test you for the antibody if you have it then you will be deemed immune, which is highly likely. Talk to your physician they should be able to counsel you on how to fill out the paperwork
