for a moment I thought I was going to become a client

Had a scary moment today. Went to pick up my kids from school, and it was snow covered a very slippery outside. Well rounding the corner to our car my feet slipped from under me and before I even knew what was happening I was on the ground and hit my hip/side of my leg really hard.

I thought for a split second that I just broke my hip, and I was going to have to be in a rehab facility or get home care with a broken hip. In an instant I could have been just like some of my cients that I take care of everyday.

I can see how the phone call to work would go. Ahh I won't be coming into work tomarrow because I just broke my hip. But in a few weeks I am going to need some in home care and was wondering if you could send over some of my co workers to take care of me, make our family meals, and clean my house. Thanks. I'll let you know when I can work again.

I am somewhat ok. I don't see a bruse but it feel like there is one there. I am now having it wraped in a heating pad, and it is really painful going up the steps, and I am not looking forward at how it is going to feel tomarrow morning. Hope I will be able to do k transfering my client.

Just wanted to drop you a note of encouragement and see if you were doing ok. I would have been more than a little scared too; have fallen on my inside stairs in my too-slippery socks before ;o/

aww thanks Autymnfyres I am doing ok. I was sore for a few days but other then that I was very luck. You never know when something bad can happen to you.
