Curious: Any CNA's that don't want to be a nurse...

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Hey all. I'm curious. Are there are any of us out there working as aides that don't intend to become a nurse? It seems like a lot of CNA's do become nurses, but i'm honestly not interested in the field. I love my job as an aide, but i'm thinking of X-ray tech, OTA, or medical records.

I work with a wonderful CNA who is just great and I love working with her because we have the same work ethic but she tells me she does not want to be a nurse but remain a CNA. She says she loves what she does and would not change it. I do however believe she would make an awesome RN.
