CNA Training Through Hospitals in Texas

Hi all,

does anyone know any hospitals in the Dallas/ Ft Worth metro that offers CNA Training? if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

Not that I know of...I work for THR and there are no CNA courses through those hospitals (all of them). So that would leave Baylor, Health South, and JPS. Good luck! :redpinkhe

I'm sorry I miss read your post, I thought you were looking for some place to take a cna course.

its ok and thanks for the help all. i was unable to find any hospitals in my area that offered it so i decided to just enroll in a 2 week course in arlington at alpha institute

Hi There!

I've been told by a nursing home director that one may work in a participating nursing home (just ask the ADON, or the DON) for up to 4 months without a CNA Certification, after which time one would qualify to take the exam to earn the certification (CNA). If one would rather not pay for a Nurse Aid course this would be a good option.

This is currently applicable in the state of Texas-not sure where else.
