Hi all. I just received word that a local hospital wants to interview me next week for the CNA position on an onc floor :) at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, IL.
She told me to come in to fill out an application (there was only a "profile" available on the site which is very general info) and to bring my CPR card, & I would also have to complete a short 10-15 minute test. She also said that she would set me up with the manager from that floor and that I would have an interview with the nurse recruiter. Is this standard practice for those coming in for an interview, or do you think I have some great chance of receiving the position? I know you all don't work there, but from your experiences, what do you think? When she told be to bring all that stuff it sounded like I was going to get the job (even though I haven't had the interview yet, lol), but I don't wanna get my hopes all up. I really wanted this position on the onc floor! I wanna be an onc nurse someday. Thank you all for the responses in advance. Have a blessed day, because I know I am :) :)
