I am considering challenging the FL cna exam. I really want to because I need a change in my life fast. I am 22 years old and working at Mcdonalds so therefore I can't afford to pay for the training class. I know that I can pass the written portion of the exam I am just worried about the skills portion. So do you guys think that it would be a good idea for me to challenge the cna exam?

Q: Am I required to attend a training program or may I simply challenge the exam? A: Yes, you may "challenge" the exam. Completion of a state approved training program is not mandatory unless you have failed part of the exam three times. However, it is strongly recommended to attend a state approved training program. - Jan 18, '12 by Crystal2283Quote from JLMCCRAY1I challenged the exam here in FL just two years ago. As long as you have a study guide to reference for the skills portion, I say go for it. The prometric site gives a list of the possible skills you may be asked to perform. If you dont have a book with step by step directions, make youtube your friend. Its not as hard as you may think. Good luck with your decision!Hello Everyone,
