    Hello Everyone,

    I am considering challenging the FL cna exam. I really want to because I need a change in my life fast. I am 22 years old and working at Mcdonalds so therefore I can't afford to pay for the training class. I know that I can pass the written portion of the exam I am just worried about the skills portion. So do you guys think that it would be a good idea for me to challenge the cna exam?

    Q: Am I required to attend a training program or may I simply challenge the exam?
    A: Yes, you may "challenge" the exam. Completion of a state approved training program is not mandatory unless you have failed part of the exam three times. However, it is strongly recommended to attend a state approved training program.

    I challenged the exam here in FL just two years ago. As long as you have a study guide to reference for the skills portion, I say go for it. The prometric site gives a list of the possible skills you may be asked to perform. If you dont have a book with step by step directions, make youtube your friend. Its not as hard as you may think. Good luck with your decision!

    Hey thanks for replying. Did you pass it your first try? I checked out youtube and you are right youtube will definitely become my best friend. What are some good study guides for the wriiten portion of the exam?
