Biting the bullet and retaking the skills exam.

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Hi all, well I decided to fight and try and get a skill redone due to the fact the examiner was too busy texting. My school and I are trying to get the Head of the CNA Testing department to allow me to retake the one skill. Unfortunately the is very good at ducking phone calls and ignoring emails. He is through the American Red Cross and he never reverses a decision and he has been there for 20 years (according to the RN who helped create the CNA program at my school.) We have proof and we reported this incident immediately after it happened. He is now out of town until the 20th of this month and when he gets back we are going to schedule a meeting with him to tell him what happened and pray for a miracle. So, here I am once again studying the 25 skills again and am going to retake it in a different city on the 10th of November. I would appreciate any words of advice and a lot of prayers please.

I am sorry about your situation. Hopefully you can retake it and pass with flying colors! I hope everything works out for you.

It seems you are doing everything you can. It stinks that you have to retake the test, but look at it this way, you take it and pass then it is behind you forever and you will never have to think about it again.
