A 19 yr old CNA

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Hi, I just applied to a CNA program in my area, and was just wondering how many 18-22 year old cna's do you guys have in ur facilty, whether it be nursing home or hospital. I just want to see if it was uncommon or not =/ lol thanks! Also, do you think the nurses/residents will look down on me since I am just 19 years old?

I just turned 24 in april and I'm 5'7 140lbs and a male. So alot of times people think I'm younger than what I'am. Most of the time many people think that I'm 18 or 19. I thought as I got older people would start saying I looked older but seems I have been 18 and 19 for the last couple of years. I don't try to think about my age being a disadvantage on my experience as a CNA. I think most people respect that we are young individuals that are trying to help someone who is unable. Also alot of family members seem to always smile when I tell them that I'm going to school to futher my education and become a RN. I will end saying, use your age as an advantage to prove that age shouldn't be a issue but your work ethics are.
