Anyone here getting ready to start with Chamberlain on Feb 26th? I am getting geared up to begin :-) Just wanted to connect with others who will be in the Chamberlain FNP program!!!

Hi, I will be starting the NR 500 course for Chamberlains FNP program in July. I was hoping to get feedback on what you all thought about Chamberlain thus far? The recent reviews are quite frightening :(

Congrats on graduating!! I am hearing a lot of negative feedback / seeing quite a few negative reviews. I am wondering if I should be nervous or not. Any advice?

Hi - Anne Marie!!

Thanks for replying. I still have not found a preceptor in WV. I have done everything you have suggested and even more. Im applyng for a pre-paid preceptor. I have found if you do have an NP, PA or MD freind it is almost impossible for someone to take time, and liability to educate an NP student. It is so sad we have to take such as difficult route and expensive route to become an NP. :(

Hi everyone!

I am planning on starting my FNP at Chamberlain as well, but not till this September. I received my RN-BSN from them and did well, but I heard there were a lot of changes that happened recently? I was doing some research and reading some reviews just now, and a lot of them are really bad. It's scaring me! I see most of y'all started in March, and I wanted to know how you feel its going so far! I hope its going well :)

Hi Kleopatra!!! Have you been able to find a preceptor for the next rotation? I have heard this is one of the most difficult parts of the program. My strategy with this is to join the California Association of Nurse Practitioners. I am really hoping that by being a part of an organization such as CANP, I will be able to find the resources I need to get my practicum hours.

How many clinical hours are required for the Chamberlain FNP program? Do they all need to be in a family practice setting? Are there specific requirements related to pediatric/women's health/adult-gerontology practicum hours?
