Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

That's good to know; content questions are important while studying, check!!

if you have time this week pass by the CHAS for more tutoring.

I went on Wednesday and it was very helpful! #teamCoachC

Had my first exam in NR222 today went well and I'm glad its over. I'm always nervous about the first exam because you never know how a teacher will test you. Now I have to gear up for 6 Chapters....gotta love it! :)

Hello all! I am looking to start at CCN in Jan 14. Any advice, things to keep in mind for the acceptance process? I am transferring from Kennesaw with a 3.56 GPA and a large portion of the program already complete. Any information would be great, I'm so excited and ready to begin the hands on nursing portion of the BSN program! Thank you in advance

With that GPA you will be fine

Since this appears to be the most active thread...

I applied in August and hoped to start in September, even though I knew it was next to impossible. My transcripts were sent to the eval committee 2 weeks ago. I'm 99.9999% certain I will be accepted.

On the student portal I can now look at classes and see some classes that were accepted. I assume they are still working on transfer credits. I'm hoping to start with a little over half of the program complete.

Is it possible to take 2 clinical courses in the same section?

Also, can I start in November since I will be taking second year courses?

I emailed my advisor, but we all know how that goes.

As far as clinical classes you only allowed to take the ones offered and you can't change your curriculum due to the program being accelerated.
