Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

I just completed that step with the background check and drug test on Last Thursday and received a call on yesterday letting me know I am officially a Chamberlain Nursing student. I am also starting in May at the Atlanta campus. My next step is registering for my classes and then orientation is the 30th at 10am....I have walked by faith this whole process and will continue throughout, the amount out of pocket was not nearly as bad as I thought, so I am thankful for that. See you at orientation.

Congrats to you all!!! I am praying the Hesi is not as bad as the Teas. :-(

I have not taking the TEAS but I heard it was hard but the HESI was not. I passed the HESI with a 90. If you have the study guide just review it but quizlet helped a lot as well as test-guide. When do you take it and are you trying to get in the May class

Congrats Nurseaayja,

How long after your hesi did you hear from them, and what was it about? Took my Hesi last tuesday and keepin my fingers crossed. I'm hoping to get into the summer semester. Did you transfer any classes?

Nurseaayja I'm hoping for the Sept session. I have three classes to finish up this summer to trim off the classes at Chamberlain. After this summer I will only need Pharmacology and the nursing classes. :)

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Thank you......have you turned in all transcripts? If you did then once they are evaluated to see what transfers you will receive a academically eligible letter.if nothing else is needed then you will do background check and drug test ($150.00) as well as pre- admissions going over your financial aid and classes you are left with. once the Bkgd choke and DT comes back you will get another call and then an official letter. All I have to do is register 4 classes then orientation.... If you passed the HESI and have the GPA you will be fine.......

If you took it last week, I was told the board meets on Tuesdays, so you should hear something by the end of the week, I was actually checking my email and saw a letter was coming from them and it had the contents of the letter available and it was my academically eligible letter, then I got a call from my advisor later on that day and from there I met with student services and did all the fun stuff I mentioned earlier (bckgd chk and DT) a week later it was official.... R u starting in May?

Nurseaayja, thanks again. Yes, I am starting in may. I'm hoping to join you on the 30th for the orientation. Wish me luck :)
