    You will need to get the BLS for healthcare providers card. It is not the same as the CPR card.

    No, you will not need your card before starting the program...they will give you a deadline of when you should have it done, as well as your immunizations/titers done in order to be ready for clinicals.

    Hello everyone! How are classes and prepping for finals going??? I can say one thing, Im ready for these classes to be over with and on to the next set. Anyway, I was just peeking in to say hello to everyone! Good luck with finals!!!

    Thank you for your response! I had asked my adviser but she just told me I would get all that information at orientation.

    Hello everyone!!! I'm not thinking of applying until April or later for the Sept starting term. Should I wait until then or can I apply now? I'm not starting until Sept because I'm taking the last of my classes at a community college that will apply towards Chamberlain. I'm trying to save as much money as possible going this route. I won't have time to study for the Hesi while taking these other classes. I had heard that as soon as one applies to Chamberlain you immediately have to schedule yr Hesi. Is this true or can I stretch the test date out? I'd like to apply now and take the Hesi in August after summer classes. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance ladies....

    It's best to apply now because and get it out the way. The classes are filling up fast. I took and passed my HESI on Feb 19. I was just deemed academically eligible yesterday. so pending my background check and drug screen (which will be fine) I will be accepted for the May start date. And it's true that as soon as you apply they will schedule you for your HESI and let me tell you, that classroom was FULL when I went to take mine. So yes you may want to consider going ahead and applying cause spots will fill up quickly.
