Combined CNM and WHNP degrees?

Does anyone know for sure any colleges that let you do both the CNM and WHNP together, or at least let you certified in both. For instance, I have found one college that when you do the CNM program, all you need is one more class and you can get your WHNP license as well. I just would like to explore my options, THANKS

U Penn's CNM program allows you to sit for both CNM and WHNP boards...

actually a cnm can do everything that a whcnp can do and more. many cnm's choose to add on the whcnp because it makes you more marketable and you are reimbursed differently from insurance depending on what title you are utilizing even if you are doing the exact same procedure.

DO you know anything about their program (CNM/WHNP)? Trying to find more information about the clinical rotations, professors, and quality of the program (networking, job placement, etc)

I just graduated from SDSU's program. Dr. Hunter is the director of the program and does a great job. The placements are at UCSD, Palomar, Kaiser, Pendelton, Balboa, and other local clinics. I am very happy with my education.

I am a student at Frontier, and while they don't allow you to do a "dual" degree, I'm told it is a pretty seamless transition for nurse-midwifery students to complete the WHNP program. I am told that it is one extra class and clinical hours that can be completed as soon as the nurse-midwifery classes are finished. I intend to take advantage of this myself to earn certification as both....

I would like to know how your experience at Frontier was. I'm interested in completing the CNM degree and maybe add on the WHNP. Is this what you did or did you do just CNM? After completing school what do you think would be the best to do as far as the job market? How is the program? Any other advise that you could give me about the program and school?
