33 weeks, 100% effaced, and no dilation?

I could very well be posting in the wrong spot but I'm hoping maybe I can get some solid answers.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child (it's a girl!) And she has been giving me a run for my money! I've had 3 hospital visits due to having preterm contractions. They gave me a shot all 3 times to stop the contractions. The first time it worked. The last two times it did not. Then they gave me a sort of pill to help keep the contractions at bay but, I was getting intense headaches that would not go away so my OB told me to stop taking it.

They also did a swab to check if a certain enzyme was released that signifies labor could be imminent in the next two weeks but the results came back negative. My cervix was checked the last two times I was at the hospital (the visits were on a Saturday and Monday) and within two days, my cervix has completely thinned but no sign of dilation. I've been on bedrest since Saturday but even laying around, I'll have these contractions that won't let up. I'm at a complete loss and trying to understand what's going on but haven't been given any solid answers. They don't even know what's going on, either. I know asking here is a long shot but maybe one of you know something I don't. Thankyou for the input!

Per TOS, we cannot provide the medical information you are requesting. Your answers need to come from your healthcare provider, who is familiar with your history and pregnancy.

Thing is, due to having a very rude OB, I switched care so she doesn't know my history all that much. My first pregnancy went just fine, had my son 3 days before his due date.

And I'm honestly just trying to figure out if since my cervix is 100% effaced, if labor will likely come sooner. I've also dropped.
