CM Interview

I went to an interview on last Thursday after working a 12hr night shift and not taking a nap before the interview. I was afraid I would over sleep or be to cloudy in the head from lack of enough sleep that I would not may a good impression.

I am not sure if I made the right judgement call. I made it to the interview just find, I had some difficulties finding the suite but an employee of the company stayed with me till I was at the right place. (2 thumbs up of the kind of work environment I would be in). So, it was a 2 person panel interview and they asked a series of questions that I think went well, as long as what I was thinking was actually what came out of my mouth. There was only one question that I feel I could have answered better, but I can't change it now.

I also wish I would have looked here prior to the interview because I don't feel I got an opportunity to sell myself and I didn't ask for a chance to really tell them who I was and what I could bring to the company. Someone here did that an got offered a second interview.

One thing in my favor was that I was recommend by an employee that 's been there for over 5 years, so that may help and my former employer gave me a letter of reference that was great.

They told me it would take about 3 days and I should hear something, well today is day 4 and no word yet. I called the contact person and she simply said that I was still being considered. So that's a good sign, right.

Well I hope and pray that I will be joining the ranks of the Case Managers group. It took me over a year after filling out the application to get this interview so I know this wait can't be as long.

Good luck! I think I am the one you are referring to when you talk about the person who got the 2nd interview. My second interview was yesterday, and I think I did OK, but who knows? There are 2 of us interviewing at the Director level, and the other person isn't interviewing until Friday. Maybe we'll both know something by next week, in time for Christmas? Good luck, I know the waiting stinks.
