Hey I was wondering if anyone else has applied to Langara Nursing. I have a 2.9 GPA and I'm afraid that might not be enough to get in:(. Does anyone know of anyone or got in with a GPA around there? thanks

i'm in group 2 and I was wondering if any of you are in group 2 as well and who you guys are taking english with? I heard *********** is really hard.

I'm taking English with T***** N******

Hey there guys, congratz on getting in! I'm applying for the fall 2015 intake and seeing as you got in, do you mind me asking what your GPAs were of the 5 prerequisite courses? I called the Langara nursing department and I've been told that starting your intake, they only look at the 5 prerequisites. I'll have everything done and my grades at the end of this semester and want to see where I stand, thanks ahead :)

I was on the waitlist because I submitted my transcript at least a month after people got accepted, but I got accepted after a month on the waitlist with a 3.89

Wow congratz, and just to clarify your GPA was only from the 5 courses correct? My GPA won't be nearly as good :p

I'm interested to see if anyone applied with a GPA of around 2.8-3.0 of the 5 prereqs and still got in? I'm guessing my GPA will be around there, hopefully it's not too low :nailbiting:

I calculated my GPA incorrectly. It's actually 4.05 from 6 courses: 2 biology, 1 english, 1 statistics, and 2 random ones. I calculated two biology courses because Langara requires both A&P courses if you did the A&P at another post secondary institution.

That's so good oh my gosh. Are you starting the program this upcoming spring? If so good luck!

Any people out there with GPAs around 2.8-3.0 who got in?

I got in with a 3.1

Btw, there's tb testing at the langara health services clinic by the cafe !

Hey guys, so the GPA is calculated with only the 5 or 6 courses right? just want to make sure
