Were you able to figure it out? I am curious if I should accept the flex or the regular ...

Hello! I have applied to the flex program... I know you posted this 3 years ago, I wonder if anyone could give some insight to the structure of this program, as stated above! Thank you! ?

Hello there,

I have been accepted to the Jan 2021 Flex Delivery. Could anyone let me know how they are finding the program, especially in COVID times.

thanks I’m advance.

Hello there,

I've applied for the Flex program @ Durham for May 2021. I believe I have a good chance of getting in with  91 average. What was your average when you were accepted? Also, do you mind providing some insight on how classes, lectures and tests are working out for you?? What is your schedule like? I'm so curious!

My average was the same when I got accepted in 2019. I’m not in flex but a few of my friends are. Classes are Friday afternoon  - Sunday, you’ll  have more than one class since it’s not like the regular program that runs during the week. Second  semester - fifth semester your placements will be on Sunday’s. Even though it’s compacted you have to find a balance and have great time management skills. The lectures are all online as well as the test. All test are supervised. Most professors provide voice over ppt.

I’m currently in 4th semester and the work load is lighter since I only have two nursing related classes and one elective. Second semester my placement was in person but because of covid were withdrawn and currently doing it online.

I hope that helps...

Thank you so much! That really helps! I'm so nervous while waiting to find out. I applied to both the regular and flex program at Durham, so either program will work out. I really just want to get accepted ?

No problem. I’m sending all the good vibes your way. I initially applied to both and got accepted into flex first then got accepted into the regular delivery  month after. Your average is good and the competition is definitely there but I don’t see why you wouldn’t get in. September is more competitive because if high school students so May start should be easier to get in.

Thank you so much! Yep I am a mature student those high school kids will definitely have a higher average than me. I got accepted for September Flex and still havent heard anything about May Flex or Regular. I'm going to wait it out, see if they accept me for May. Otherwise I'm still super excited
