CRNE prep course

World Canada CRNE

Hi everyone,

Has anyone taken a good CRNE prep course in Toronto and would recommend it? Or know anyone who has taken a helpful one? Im planning to write my CRNE exam in October and is very interested in taking a prep course to better prepare myself for the exam. But, there are so many prep courses out there and I don't know which one is good.

I am mainly looking for a longer comprehensive review course such as those that last 11 days or more. I know there is a few school offering courses like that. (Toronto school of health, Toronto school of nursing etc.)

I might take the comprehensive prep course offered by the Toronto school of nursing, as they are cheaper than the one from Toronto school of health and read some good comments about it. I am wondering if anyone else is interested in taking the course with me and we can call in to see if they can give us a group discount or something.

Thanks!

I have heard lots of good things about both courses, so its up to you. Several of my friends have taken them and they have passed but you must make sure you are studying at least 6 hours a day on your own because the CRNE is very tricky I have heard. I just got eligibility to write my CRNE too so this is very exciting, as I also wrote my CPNRE in may but do not have a lot of money right now. If you want a shorter course try primed educators, which I think is a day review which one of my friends said is very good review. You can also buy the CNA prep book at Download/Buy - Télécharger/Acheter - Canadian Registered Nurse Examination Prep Guide, 5th Edition (2010). I am very tight on money at this time, so I have borrowed 2 of the editions from my library which you can also do, because they write the exam so please practice the questions. Please study everyday and you will be victorious! Try also the CNO website, they have lots of things on Canadian nursing which you need to know. God bless us with the CRNE!

thanks for all your info! how long r u planning to spend on studying? im writing mine in October and planning to start studying this week. However, i dont know what to start with? should i start reading the textbooks or doing the practice questions?

im also looking for some cheap CRNE prep books too.
