camp for ADHD or Bipolar kids

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has heard of or worked at a camp that specialized in children with ADHD or Bipolar Disorder. I would love to do camp nursing and take my son with me, but my son is "ADHD" or Bipolar (who really knows, different Docs/therapists diff opinions) any way I would need staff and kids that can relate to him, and I could learn more and have a good camp experience. Can anyone help?

thanks

i am currently a counselor @ a camp for kids and adults with pysical and devlopmental disabilites. many campers have ADHD or are bipolar (sometimes it is a secondary condition). the staff @ our camp is very well trained to work with situations that arise when working with this population and the possible behavior problems that may arise (we all are trained in CPI and some have CPI cirtification) We also are taught how to relate to all type of poeple, no matter what is going on in their life/
i might say have him try a weekend camp first and see how that goes. you might also look @ http://www.kidscamps.com/ in the special needs camp section.
camp ROCKS and i definately this there is a situation out there that will be great for your son
