what to expect at open houses

I'm attending an Open House for the first time next week. I'm not really sure what to do or what to say. I heard that it's an opportunity to talk to the unit managers. I honestly have to no idea what to say or ask. Can anyone help me please? I've also read that some people had the opportunity for quick interviews during open houses. How can I land one?

Can you please give me any tips? Thanks.

Are you referring to the one at Hoag, by any chance? If so, I'm going to that as well! Not sure what to expect yet...

Yes. I've never been to an open house before. It's making me anxious.

Frankly, I would rather go to an open house where there will be a lot of people around doing the same thing, than to venture onto a ward by my lonesome to seek out a unit manager. I think it takes some of the pressure off me as an individual. Good luck.

Thanks. I agree with you. I heard there's going to be a lot of people. That's why I need to find a way to stand out.

They don't have any new grad jobs posted on their website, so I'm wondering why they are having the open house. Oh well, I'm still going just in case....
