Sonoma State BSN

U.S.A. California

Published

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has applied for the Fall 2012 BSN at Sonoma State. I applied. They say they try to get back to applicants by the end of March. Since it's April, I'm getting a little nervous. I think last year they announced acceptances on April 20, so it's probably fine but I don't want to miss an announcement (in spam or such).

Has anyone else heard? Or applied and want to commiserate on waiting?

Thanks

Just wondering if anyone has heard back from SSU regarding the alternates' list?

I keep checking for a change in the Alt list, but they haven't updated it in 3 weeks. Does anyone know if they are out of the office for the summer?

Are you an alternate? What number are you, if you don't mind me asking?

Yes I'm Alt #1. How about you?

Hey Boleo, I was accepted at SSU for Fall 2014, transfer student with BA from SDSU about 25 years ago. I just finished CNA program at SRJC. Do you know anything about Skills Lab at SSU? Any information about the program? I haven't taken any classes there and I heard from SRJC that SSU students were using SRJC Skills Lab in Race Building. Hope the lab at SSU is nice and has great teaching tools for us.

The lab at SSU is nice, but we rarely used it (I just graduated). Really only about 1 day at the beginning of each clinical rotation. Most skills are learned on the floor. One of our biggest complaints was the lack of skills lab time. Hopefully this will change with time!
