Hi everyone,

I did not see a post for the Spring 2012 ELMSN - FNP program in Sacramento, so I thought I would start one for all the hopeful FNPs.

A little about me:

My name is Jennifer and I live in Rancho Cordova. I have two young boys, 3 years old and 9 months, and this is the first year I am applying to the ELMSN FNP program. I have an undergraduate and graduate degree in Health Administration/Education and realized I want more patient interaction. So, here I am hoping I get accepted.

They are doing more early admits than I thought, which is good. Me too Bizaleth, waiting for that call; however, I feel I did horrible on the writing portion. My brain totally froze and everything I knew disappeared.

Is anybody interviewing tomorrow for CM at the Oakland campus? My interview is at 9am.

I called L at Sac Campus and found out I did not get in. Boo. She did say they interviewed a lot of students and the even the wait-list was small. Well, I guess it was not in the cards for me this year. Good luck to everyone else and HUGE congrats to all those accepted..what a great accomplishment.

I am so sorry to hear this. Sacramento State has reopened their nursing program to 2nd Bachelor's candidates. If I don't get accepted to ABSN I will definitely be trying that route.
