Samuel Merritt ABSN Fall 2014

U.S.A. California

Published

Hello everyone! I didn't see a thread started for the SMU ABSN program Fall 2014 yet. I'm turning in my application tomorrow and I'm getting really nervous. Just wanted to see who else is applying and what were everyone's stats.

Stats:

Science GPA: 3.6

Last 60 GPA: 3.2

TEAS V Overall: 73.5%

Good luck to everyone!

Thank you, sunshine!

People on the waitlist... did anyone get any news about waitlist movement?

Nothing heard so far :(

Hopefully, we will see some movement by the end of Month

Simply_soni, where would you be moving from? I'm wait-listed too at 8, but hoping to get in, and if so would have to relocate as well!

Currently I live in Tracy and it would be a horrific commute to San Mateo...I cannot even imagine! Haven't heard anything from admissions in terms of the waitlist status, but I did email them this week and I was told we would here by early June (she told me I would be admitted by then) I'm still finishing up a few classes this term, but still hopeful about getting in.

Hi! Good luck to everyone on the waiting list! I just sent a request to join the FB page (I think/hope it is the right one!!)

Just wanted to give an update... just got my acceptance email for ABSN program! So people on the waitlist, there is hope!

Congrats rinaa!

I got acceptance email too! Sooooo super excited, cant wait to start

Yes I also received an acceptance email and call for the program this fall! From the looks of the fall 2014/15 calendar there is no summer break like they have for winter and spring terms?

Congrats you guys!!!!! :) does anyone know how many spots the wait list has moved? I called the counselor but only got her voicemail and I'm really curious to know! Thanks :)

Congrats Movingwolf and Simply_soni! I think the schedule will be clarified at orientation. But it doesn't look like there is a break in the summer term. In fact, it doesn't look like there is a "break" after the end of March, other than national holidays. It's a little confusing how it's listed. I'm sure we'll get more details later!
