opx322, I believe Science GPA doesn't include patho and pharm but you must have the classes done before Fall 2014. I also think that SMU looks at your overall application. GPA, TEAS, personal statements, letter of recommendations, and work/volunteer experience. Hope this helps!

They did extend the application deadline to the 15th. It says on the top part of the ABSN admission requirement page.

HopefulyBSN1, It wasn't hard to get in at all, you just have to make sure you get cleared for pre-reqs for the classes. So if you're trying to get classes for the Summer, I suggest you get that done because once you have been cleared then you can just sign up for the classes on your registration date. Hope that helps!

Hi Sunshine 5300, I took my patho and pharm at Santa Barbara City College. They're both online classes and I got A's in both of them so they weren't so hard.

Did anyone else apply to any other school for the Fall?

Hello everyone! I didn't see a thread started for the SMU ABSN program Fall 2014 yet. I'm turning in my application tomorrow and I'm getting really nervous. Just wanted to see who else is applying and what were everyone's stats. Stats: Science GPA: 3.6 Last 60 GPA: 3.2 TEAS V Overall: 73.5% Good luck to everyone!
