Palo Alto VA New Grad Program fall 2012 - Page 2

On the new grad Facebook page someone said they have gotten that message for several positions, but never have been contacted for any interviews. Bummer news.

Yup, just got the same email. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Same here. Got referred. I have a feeling thats the status for everyone! Lol

Yup got the same email earlier also. On the bright side, I was looking at another thread regarding the program that started at the beginning of the year (Keyword search: VA Palo Alto New Graduate Program 2012) and people who didn't get the email that we recieved today recieved an email stating this: "You got qualified for the position however you were not among the most highly qualified candidates, therefore you will not be referred to the selecting officials at this time." So we should be glad we got this email and passed this "step."

Very true sfbayrnski - the job market for us new grad is beyond sad at the moment, however, this is one rare piece of good news.

I got the same email.. So now what? Do we just wait? Can we call anyone??

According to ANN1324, they stated "from what i have read on the CA RN facebook group, they are supposed to start contacting people towards the end of next week," which will be now this coming week. So hopefully we'll be getting calls soon...
