help!:confused::confused:

Specializes in Hospital Education Coordinator.

If you feel both are equal then just throw in convenience, like drive time, or cost, like GAS.

Here is the real truth: almost none of us stay in the same job forever. Do not fret over making a lifetime commitment.

Specializes in Trauma ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU.

I'd get the 411 on how well the unit operates as a whole, how management is, how good nurses are to help in a pinch, how good orientation is, how the turnover rate is, etc etc etc. You really want to go somewhere where you'll have supportive, helpful staff. Word gets around fast if you HAVE it or dont. I'd simply go ask someone unbiased (not management, maybe a nurse who has floated there before?) and see what they have to say about how they were treated. Hope that helps!

Moved your thread to the CA since it is specific to hospitals located there and you will find it easier to get more information about these two to help in your selection.

Best of luck to you.

If you can't get more info, or still can't decide after looking at convenience like classicdame suggested, there's always the coin toss! I would go with the one that is closer to my home if everything else is equal to you. JMO
