    hi. Wander if anyone can offer some advice. Will be new to the USa in the near future , hoping to head for california, not sure exactly where as yet? I am a NICU nurse, can anyone suggest a great hospital to work in and a nice area to live in? greatly appreciated.

  4. I believe the state of California is bigger than the UK. Can you be little more specific ? Are you thinking Coastal area, Mts, City, rural... I am a NICU RN and have lived and worked in So. Cal and No. Cal. If you give me more specifics maybe I can help. By the way are you looking for a Level II or Level III ? PM me if I can help.

    i will also be relocating to california God willing, this year.where r you with the process . i am currently waiting for an interview with US embassy. the immigration process as u know is a long long painful process.i am not sure what is happening, they go on about how short they are,and yet issuing proper work document is almost impossible .anyway i hope this does not scare u away (if you are at the first stage)i hope all goes well with u .i am a paed nurse. as well and work partime @chelsea and west.

  6. Hi there and thanks for your reply to my thread. Not sure of where to start in California, will go and visit on holiday first and then decide. Mostly like rural as opposed to city life.I do level III NICU at the moment in the UK.

    thanks for the reply. I am a also working in London at the moment but just been thinking about going to the USA so not in the process ar all yet. Just been putting feelers out to get ideas.
    Good luck for your interview. work with a girl who has just passed her NCLEX for Florida and her husband is also a nurse there already.
    How is C & W, I did a few shifts there in Neptune and Mercury some time ago now.

  8. hi there...im from Ca and the best hospitals i worked at were Saint Agnes Hospital in Fresno, CA and the community hospitals in Clovis and Fresno, Ca.....the rent there is also very cheap and nice areas to live in....if you need any further help feel free to ask...
