License by Endorsement Troubles

I applied back in May'14 for a license by endorsement for the state of California. They processed my payment in June '14 in August '14, I got a letter stating that they are missing my transcripts and can't complete my applications. I have documentation from all three of the different schools I attended including the community college where I did my prerequisites, saying that they delivered my transcripts via first class mail. I tried to call numerous times I always get a message saying that they are "experienceing high call volumes" or just a busy tone. I emailed the website 2 x's, but no one has yet to return my email. Has anyone had similiar issues or am I just being paranoid?

No you are not being paranoid. Here and there ,there are glitches. I am both an RN and a psychologist. I am waiting on my CA psychologist license since 2013!!! Even my licensing analysts have been frustrated and,seriously we are on a first name basis at this point. My issue is that due to my age, I can't get fingerprints...and the name check has not gone through.

Now, with that said, the BON really should answer. But if they don't, call the DCA (dept of Consumer Affairs).

If no answer.. write to the Dept of Consumer Affairs. I did that. But the BON SHOULD answer. You can email the Ca Dept of Consumer Affairs as well. I have had three licensing analysts and between them some of my stuff was lost too, but the chief hold up was the fingerprint issue. Can you believe I've worked for so many yrs as a nurse that my prints are barely visible... it does happen!

same here , they told me that they gonna keep my file for 3 years , and now they are looking for my transcripts i think they lost my files thats why

An update on m license woes: I finally got my license this past September after speaking with a representative from my travel agency. I am currently working in Southern California for an assignment! :-) Thanks all for your help.

Hey All,

I mailed my application Oct 16 or 17th. They received it Oct 21st. And I just checked my mail today and my license was there (Dec 6th). Now my spouse is military and the website said it has expedited processing for military. However, I called last week and they told me my application wasn't processed yet. So maybe they are trying to speed things up for the holiday, who knows. But keep checking and stay positive. Here is a number you can call and actually speak to someone 1-800-838-6828

Hi there! Do you mind giving me details on how you completed you deficiency courses? Like what school and such? Please! Thank you!
