Has anyone taken the Lifesavers Nursing Review Seminars for the NCLEX?

U.S.A. California

Hello everyone,

I posted this in the NCLEX forum but no one replied. I was wondering if anyone has taken the Lifesavers nursing review seminars? And if so how was the experience and would you recommend the class. I recently received a flyer from them in the mail and wondered if they were any good. The web site is www.lifesaversnursingreview.com they only offer classes in California. Well any help on this topic would be appreciated. Thanks.

I know you wrote this a long time ago, but I was just looking into LifeSavers and was wondering if you ever went? Did you ever pass?

I had taken the boards many times. I had been to a lot of review classes, including Kaplan. Finally, my friend told me about lifesaversnursingreview. The class was the best!!!

I finally passed the RN state board after taking this review class.

Good luck

They charged $425 for the 3 days class including the review book. It was worth It.

i was wondering how you guy's review with lifesaver went (if jozie413 ever went to the seminar) i registered for the march review course and was wondering if you really get of information and test taking skills just like the kaplan review and is it better? please i'd really appreciate you guy's opinion.

thank you

I have never heard of them before but upon reading the previous post it's expensive for a 3 day course $415 and that was 2-3 years ago?!!! I took the Kaplan review which was also very expensive they did not teach you the Clinical nursing aspect which NCLEX RN exams are about. I waisted my money on Kaplan:mad: I did however passed the NCLEX RN with the help of Excell nursing review ( you can google them) very high passing rate and it's a 10 day review class ( 80 hours). I think one of the class starts this mid march 2011 in California, they also have classes in IL. ( that's where there corporate office is),and class in Las Vegas I think this April 2011. You will get your moneys worth ( every penny), and the instructors are very supportive.:)Good Luck
