How lucky you were to get TWO offers! I've been applying all over for more than 6 months now and can't even get an interview. It's tough out there. What was your secret to getting two offers?I have been offered a position at Georgetown Hospital on their medicine unit, as well as Glendale Adventist Hospital on their Med-Surg Unit. Are you in nursing school or a registered nurse?I have been offered a position at Georgetown Hospital on their medicine unit, as well as Glendale Adventist Hospital on their Med-Surg Unit. - Sep 14, '12 by PPhillipsRNI'm a fully licensed RN, but as I'm sure you know, the market's gotten considerably tighter since 2010 for new grads. We're pretty much relegated to these "new grad" programs and they get inundated with applicants all hoping for a chance to work. The fact that these new grad programs are subsidized, thereby eliminating any incentive to take new grads into any UN-subsidized positions, just makes the market that much worse.
But I'm still plugging away. I hope for something soon...
