CSUDH Entry MEPN - Fall 2011

I didn't see a thread for CSUDH MEPN-- Fall 2011 so I thought I would start one. I plan on attending the Dec 2nd information session and this will be my 2nd time applying. I'm still nervous about the whole selection process but I am twice as excited! I made a couple of new friends in patho course who are currently in the program and they are doing very well! Good luck everyone!

no i take it this thursday! Have any of you heard anything on when the orientation is or even when the program starts!? I keep getting worried that I am not getting the emails that said were going to be sent soon.

The orientation is on the 25th of August. Students need to pay an orientation fee ($ 50.00) in advance or you will have to pay ($75.00) on the actual day.I have no idea when the actual classes commence.

check ur emails! Time to register. But I cant seem to register for 2 classes. Anyone having that problem?

I finally got the email but it would only let me register for MSN 502.. did anyone else figure out why its not working

Ok cool. Where can we pay for the orientation fee in advance?

You can down load the orientation form and mail it, with the amount to School of Nursing.

I sent an email to JE yesterday when I couldn't register for the other classes. He just emailed me back saying that he enrolled me in them himself =/.

hey guys im all registered now and super excited the schedule isn't as bad as i thought but maybe its just looks that way. i wonder what day the clincals are going to be on i hope not the weekends. or at least sundays. and JE said that there was going to be a MEPN orientation some time this month but this month is almost over , lol oh well at least we are know our classes people last year said that they didn't know unitl a week before school starts. im sure the other details will follow , cant wait to meet every one.:lol2::up::yeah:

Hello! You should be able to add msn 502, bsn 380, and bsn 381. I also had difficulty adding 505 and 506. Still haven't added it yet but I think it's because we're awaiting to be added to MSN 507 [clinical rotations] by JE which is a corequisite with 505 and 506. Talked to him recently, he will add us as soon as he can, I'm sure he's oober busy.

For past students or current MEPN students, I've been trying to look for the required textbooks so I can start shopping for them now instead of later. Do you know which textbooks we need for Fundamentals of Nursing and intro to Pharm? Thanks.
