CSUDH Entry MEPN - Fall 2011

I didn't see a thread for CSUDH MEPN-- Fall 2011 so I thought I would start one. I plan on attending the Dec 2nd information session and this will be my 2nd time applying. I'm still nervous about the whole selection process but I am twice as excited! I made a couple of new friends in patho course who are currently in the program and they are doing very well! Good luck everyone!

Anyone been able to log into blackboard? Mine says invalid username/password but its supposed to be the same as our mycsudh...?

Yea your blackboard password is the same as your mycsudh . Also JE does need to enroll you in msn 507 before you can enroll in 506 and 505 but he just enrolled me in them when.I sent him my ID . And I would also like to know about our books so I can shop around for them. I just hope that the.books are not the kind you can't find any where else but at the.csudh bookstore.

hey i found out how to see what books we need, go to class schedule on the mycsudh log in page, the one that you don't have to login for. if you put in the class there is a tab where it says view book , it shows required book and the ones they suggest you get. i hope this is the right editions though but most teacher don't mind if you get the previous one.

i looked there but i don't think those are our classes. when i spoke with JE, he said to be sure to look at the section number for our classes. most of our classes have section #50 and the ones listed aren't it. if the csudh bookstore doesn't post soon, i'm going to email son to find out. :]

oh ok thanks i wonder though if all the sections will be the same since we are all in the same program ?? i just want to hurry up and know exactly what things are going to cost.

So I.just printed out the books for 3 of our classes . They have our section up there and all the books we need except the ones for bsn 380 . I'm going to hunt for the best finds and let you know

Just priced 10 books on cheggs.com for about $370 and that's to rent some of the smaller ethics pamphlets and renting the books . Pricey uggg

Where/how did you find the exact textbook/supplemental materials needed for our classes?

On the csudh website I looked at the fall class schedule.that can my found under current students , then click on my csudh and before you log in look underneath the log in spot and it says class schedule no log in needed . I just put in our classes checked that the section was right which was 50 and clicked on the view books tab . Found every thing except for van 380 and 381 . Hope that helps some

bsn 380+381 are under nursing-undergrad.
