does anyone know any cheap or free CNA programs in orange or LA county? Thank you so much!

Hey, sorry about the delay.

I called up, yes, and the lady stated to call back in August, I have no idea how many spots there are, or if it is guaranteed. It works by them hiring you as a CNA that will work there, she did state that they would probably end up working Graveyard Shifts, and that the licensed position and training were both full-time however.

Though, I may have shot myself in the foot telling everyone about it if there are limited positions....

EDIT: Okay, there are ten spots, There is an entrance exam on basic math and English, personal interviews, and then they decide based on how well you score and how much they like you, the process takes place between the first two weeks of August.

Specializes in LTC, Rehab, CNA, HHA, Nurse Mentor.

I highly recommend the ROP Long Beach program. I became a CNA/HHA through the Goodwill and also was a Mentor for the class as well and they helped me with everything. My only advice is to listen to the teacher because she doesn't take any slack off of anyone. The Med Core teacher that I had was great and so helpful. Too bad I can't say the same for the LPN program I'm doing down here in West Palm Beach, FL. l finished the CNA program in April of 2009. Also, the ROP program can give credit to LBCC for the RN program, but no other state ... :crying2::crying2::crying2:
