Childrens Hospital New RN Grad Versant Program

Hi All,

I am a pre-nursing student here in Phoenix Arizona. I was wondering if anyone out there had any first hand knowledge about the Versant program at Childrens Hospital? I was born and raised in Los Angeles and moved here to Phoenix a little over 2 years ago and plan on moving back to Los Angeles once I have completed nursing school.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. How difficult was it to get into the program? Do you or did you enjoy the program? Are you an actual Childrens Hospital employee? What is the starting pay for a new nurse in Southern Cal? How do you determine your speciallty or is it chosen for you? Again anything you can share would be helpful:)

They started taking applications today for the september 2011 program. Hopefully you already knew this!!

Thank you so much Parlislon, I still haven't even gotten into school yet, so this program seems like a dream right now because it seems like I'll never get to get in:-(
