I didn't get in through the traditional application... but I did apply for a sponsorship with both Memorial and Mercy hospitals and ended up getting selected by both. I just found out today both hospitals accepted me so now I have to make the awkward 'no thank you' phone call. *gulp*
Hi, im SO excited that you got sponsored! Thats one step to getting in...Would you mind telling me how you applied? Step-by-step? I asked the people at the hospital and they seemed clueless?
Thanks, Patrice Morrow

This isn't visa sponsorship but sponsorship for a seat in an entry level nursing practice.
Do you think you could help me out on HOW to get a sponsorship from those hospitals? I went there and they seemed clueless about it. What did you do exactly?
Thanks a bunch!:)
What do you mean?
Nursing programs are competitive. Sometimes guaranteed seats are held for those sponsored by a hospital (usually because they are a current employee or were hired into a work study program with a post graduation work requirement/contact). The student then can bypass waiting lists by garnering a sponsored seat in a nursing class
If you are an IEN seeking sponsorship for an eb3 or other visa check out the advice on immigration and nurse registration forums in the world nursing section of this site
