ASN or BSN R.N?

U.S.A. California

Hello everyone,

I am moving to Los Angeles by next month and currently checking out schools which offer nursing program. Does anyone know whats the difference between associate degree registered nurse and b.s degree registered nurse in salary and job opportunity? how big is the difference? is it worth it to spend two more years to get the b.s degree?

I have a 5 month old and I'm a single mom. I need to finish school fast so I can start making money to raise my son. I am debating whether to spend two more years to obtain b.s degree which might be better for the long run or just attend communitiy college to become registered nurse then maybe go back to school to get my bs sometime in the future.

I'm going to live in hacienda heights, can someone give me a list of schools close to that area which provides nursing program.

please share your opinions, anything helps. i need your advices. thank you. =)

I am glad you asked that question because i would like to know is there a difference between the two. I am trying to complete my associates degree, but i am so anxious to become a nurse that i don't know if i want to do my bach.
