Just wondering who applied today for the NAU/Maricopa CEP program?! What was your GPA?

I did not apply to the program yet, but I am applying for Spring 2014. I am new in the city, and I am currently confuse how their program works in Maricopa. I have finished all the courses for their program they just needed to be transferred. I still have to take the required tests. Does anybody know how long the program usually takes? or how long will you get accepted?

There are two programs with the Maricopa community colleges. One program where you get your associates and another where you get your bachelors. The information on the Bachelors program is here. https://hceweb.maricopa.edu/cfide/docs/hcies/studentstatus/index.cfm?logout=1 The brochures are on that page.

If you are wanting to apply for the Bachelors program you are not able to until Feb now, since today is the last day to apply for Spring 2014. The Bachelors program is competitive so if you apply and get in you start the next semester.

The associates program on the other hand is waitlisted. So once you have the prereqs complete, then you submit your application and you get put on a wait list and wait till your turn is up. This option can take a long time, I think it's a 3 year wait as of now.

Your best bet is to contact the community college you want to go to and talk to them. GL!

What was your GPA/HESI if you don't mind sharing? My GPA was 3.81 Hesi 80 English 92 Math! I applied for NAU with my 1st choice being MCC. I called MCC today and they said they aren't sending letters till the 12th!

My GPA is 3.34

ASU only requires a 3.25

My English is 97

My math is 80!

Im kinda nervous because everyone elses is so high! ASU only has 60 slots and NAU has 150.

I'm sure you'll get in! I have heard that ASU had a low # of applicants! =)

Aww thank you so much! that is such a relief!

You shouldn't be worried either. You have such a high GPA. We have six days till we find out so we shouldnt stress.

Thanks! Exactly! I am going to try not to stress about it! Good luck to you too! Nursing school going to be brutal but I've heard that block 1 isn't all too bad! Let me know as soon as you hear anything!!

I got my acceptance letter this morning!!!!!!!! I'll be starting with NAU/SCC this fall/spring.

I don't know how to tell if I was accepted to the Fast Track program or the traditional. It didn't mention it in the acceptance email.

Congrats! I got my email yesterday MCC/NAU! =) As for the fast track....I believe NAU sends the emails about that. =)
